At Highgear, we love meeting people who are just as enthusiastic about the great outdoors as we are. That's why we are proud to support individuals and organizations that make their living by exploring the poles, climbing the highest peaks, and creating new adventures everyday!

UNITED STATES ADVENTURE RACING ASSOCIATION
Adventure Racing is a sport that takes the finish line to a whole new level! Simply completing an Adventure Race is regarded as an astounding accomplishment. Racers find themselves mountain biking along a narrow single track, navigating through a dense forest, or any other unchartered territory. The United States Adventure Racing Association (USARA) provides its members and committees with the tools and knowledge to conduct fun and safe events.

NATIONAL SKI PATROL
Since 1938, the National Ski Patrol (NSP) has believed in its creed: "Service and Safety". The NSP was developed in order to keep the slopes safe for all who enjoy skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and other emerging snow sports and activities. NSP members endure extensive training including rescue techniques, emergency procedures, and much more to ensure the safety of all winter enthusiasts.

PROFESSIONAL SKI INSTRUCTORS OF AMERICA & THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS
The Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) are the two largest divisions of the American Snowsports Education Association (ASEA). These two groups provide training, certification, and other educational programming for their members to enhance their knowledge and skill on the slopes.

ERIC LARSEN
Polar Explorer Eric Larsen leads the expeditions and adventures in remote territories such as the Poles, the Canadian Arctic, and many other frigid regions most people would consider inhospitable. Larsen has put a modern tone on the word "explore" and has been able to inspire others by discussing his passion with universities, schools, non-profit organizations, and corporations. When he's not globe trotting, Eric spends his time in Boulder, Colorado and Grand Marais, Minnesota.

JORDAN ROMERO
Jordan Romero climbed Mount Everest at age 13, making him the youngest person to reach the highest peak in the world. In addition to climbing Mount Everest, he has also climbed five other of the Seven Summits including Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Elbrus, Mount Aconcagua, Mount McKinley, and Mount Carstensz Pyramid. Romero was born in Bear Lake, California where he lives today.
