HighGear 10.2.1 adds a powerful new Table Fields feature to allow you to capture row-based information directly inside tasks. Configure your table column types and sizes, validate data, and even calculate totals that can integrate with your workflows and dashboards.

Emailed dashboards have also gotten an upgrade. They now mirror the same full layout and formatting you see in HighGear, all without leaving your inbox. Not only that, but you can now choose to only send an emailed dashboard when there’s data worth viewing.

And to keep your recurring workflows running smoothly, the recurring task dashboard now allows you to see disabled templates and understand exactly when and why they stopped creating tasks.

Work smarter with HighGear 10.2.1.

Table Fields

We’re excited to announce that HighGear now features Table Fields, a powerful new way to capture and display row-based information directly within your tasks.

Whether you’re organizing expense line items, managing parts lists, or tracking customer activity steps, table fields allow you to embed multiple rows of related data in clean, structured tables right where you need them.

Need more room? Simply expand any table to full screen with a single click for a comfortable view of larger datasets.

Table fields are easy to read, and even easier to work with – just add them to a task form like any other field. Administrators have full control over column sizes and types including text, numbers, currency, and dropdown selections.

But here’s where table fields get truly powerful: numeric columns can automatically calculate totals that update in real time as you make changes, and these calculations flow seamlessly into your workflows and dashboards just like any numeric field. You can use them to power your dashboards, drive your reports, and trigger your workflows to help you make smart data-driven decisions with information that is always accurate and up to date.

Emailed Dashboard Enhancements

Emailed dashboards are more comprehensive than ever. We’ve overhauled the design so your emailed dashboards can show the complete picture and mirror your dashboard’s layout in HighGear, displaying all columns and maintaining your custom project hierarchy and grouping. Now you get all the context you need without leaving your inbox.

Plus, we’ve given you the control to customize the number of rows to be included in the email to match your needs. Whether you want a quick snapshot or a comprehensive overview, the choice is yours.

What about those days when your dashboard is empty? No problem. Now, you can configure dashboards to only send emails when there’s actually something to see, ensuring you’re only notified about what matters most.

Recurring Task Dashboard Enhancement

The recurring task dashboard interface now allows you to find templates that are disabled, helping to reducing surprises and keep critical workflows on track.

Whether a template was disabled by the Disable Schedule button or automatically stopped after its end-of-recurrence condition was met (e.g., after five runs), you can quickly identify it and understand why it stopped creating tasks, and at what date and time.
