HighGear 10.3.4 introduces the new AI Dashboard Assistant, giving users a conversational way to build and update dashboards, along with expanded governance controls, form validation enhancements, and new HiSAFE portal capabilities.

New Features
AI Dashboard Assistant
The new AI Dashboard Assistant lets users create and update dashboards by describing what they want in plain language; no manual configuration required. Just describe the dashboard you need and watch it take shape, all through the same kind of conversational AI experience your team already knows.
The Assistant can build and configure virtually everything a user would create by hand, including:
- Lists: with criteria, column selection, sorting, grouping, statistics, and conditional formatting
- Charts: including column, line, area, and pie charts
- Gauges: analog, digital, and progress bar styles, with configurable tick marks, colored ranges, and thresholds
The Assistant understands your task configuration, including processes, forms, fields, and statuses, so it builds dashboards that reflect how your organization actually works.
Built with permissions awareness from the ground up, the AI Dashboard Assistant can only interact with the forms, fields, and statuses that the user already has permission to see. Users will never see data that they don’t have permission to access, so governance and security stay fully intact.
AI Governance
As AI becomes a bigger part of how work gets done in HighGear, 10.3.4 gives administrators clear, centralized control over how AI features access your data.
The new AI Governance page includes two sections:
- Data Access: Globally enable or disable AI access to specific task and contact data across all AI features.
- Access can be controlled with precision at the process/category level, or more granularly at the individual field level. This gives administrators confidence that AI features only ever see the data they’re meant to, protecting sensitive information while still letting teams take full advantage of what AI can do.
- Features: Enable or disable individual AI features to match your organization’s policies.
To support these controls, a new Governance section has been added to the Administration menu. This section now houses both the new AI Governance page and Field Sensitivity settings, which have been relocated here for easier access.
Because the Governance section is permissioned separately, organizations can assign a dedicated owner, such as a security or compliance lead, to manage AI and data governance independently of other administrative duties. This supports clean separation of duties and gives governance the focused ownership regulated organizations require.
Enhancements
Form Designer: Validate Specific Required Fields
Administrators now have finer control over form validation. A new Validate Specific Required Fields button option lets you configure a specific list of fields that must be filled when a particular button is clicked.
If any field in that set is left empty, the user sees a validation error when they click the button. This feature ensures the right information is captured at exactly the right step in your process, without forcing every field to be required across the board.
